Rope access on a sloping roof

Keep roof details in view

A leaking junction, damaged flashing or blocked gutter can require targeted work. For roofing work, we consider the affected area in relation to the roof construction, drainage and available access.

A photo of the visible damage is a good start. However, moisture appearing inside the building does not in itself establish its cause conclusively. Access and further investigation are agreed to suit the situation.

Maintenance, repairs and waterproofing

  • Roof maintenance and minor roof repairs
  • Gutter cleaning and work on gutters and downpipes
  • Sheet metal work on flashings and junctions
  • Window, door junction and joint sealing
  • Waterproofing work on selected components

The services required for your building depend on the existing conditions and the agreed commission. Related work on façades or fixings is considered at the same time.

Preparing for a roof appointment

Specify the roof type, approximate building height and available access. Exterior and interior photos, plans or details of previous repairs make the initial assessment easier.

The building's use, accessible areas and preferred timeframe are also important. Weather, materials and access can affect execution and are taken into account when scheduling.

Frequently asked questions

Does ZWEISEIL also clean gutters?

Gutter cleaning is included in the roofing work described. Accessibility, length and condition of the drainage are clarified beforehand.

Does scaffolding need to be erected for small roof jobs?

That depends on the roof and the task. Rope access may be a suitable option; the access method is determined for the specific building.

Which photos are helpful when there is a leak?

If possible, send an overview of the roof, detailed photos of the suspected area and images of visible moisture. Do not enter unprotected roof areas to take them.
