Consider the tree and its surroundings together
Tree care starts by asking what you want to achieve. Does the crown need maintenance, deadwood need removing or a tree need controlled dismantling? The appropriate measure depends on condition, location and surroundings.
Rope techniques provide access to areas that are hard to reach from the ground. The appropriate working method is decided according to the tree and local circumstances.
Maintenance and dismantling are different tasks
- Tree and crown care
- Removal of deadwood
- Tree felling and dismantling using rope techniques
- Work in confined spaces between buildings and industrial facilities
- Coordination of removal and further work at the location
The scope is decided for each individual tree. Felling is not automatically the right response to every maintenance need. Existing requirements for the property and necessary coordination must be clarified before execution.
What we need for an assessment
Photos of the entire tree from several directions help more than a single close-up. Specify its location, estimated height and your concern. Nearby buildings, cables, paths and other obstacles should be visible.
Describe vehicle access and possible removal routes. Whether cuttings or timber should remain on the property also belongs in the enquiry.
