Targeted work on damaged areas
Flaking render, damaged façade areas or components needing repair call for suitable access. Rope access construction services focus on the specific damaged area. The condition of the substrate and adjoining components determines which work is appropriate.
We discuss with you whether a local repair will suffice or whether further investigation is needed. Treating the surface alone does not automatically address the cause of damage.
Typical tasks on the building envelope
- Façade repairs, rendering and painting
- Repairing selected areas of concrete and masonry
- Repairs to externally insulated façades
- Repairing woodpecker holes
- Work on hard-to-reach projections and façade details
Materials, colour and integration with the existing structure are agreed for each project. For historic components, existing requirements and responsibilities should already be considered during preparation.
Information that helps with your enquiry
Send an overview of the façade and detailed photos of the damage, with approximate dimensions if possible. The construction type, known previous repairs and signs of recurring moisture are also useful.
Describe how the areas beneath the work zone are used: footpaths, entrances, balconies or parking spaces can affect the organisation of the work. Waterproofing and roof junctions are considered as separate tasks where required.
