Task and existing conditions
A maintenance route connects the access point and work location. Describe the intended activities, obstacles and transitions so that the required route can be defined.
What the service covers
Walkways and maintenance routes should connect the access point and work location sensibly. Roof structures, differences in level and obstacles influence the proposed route. We discuss the areas to be reached and subsequent activities. Building documentation, frequency of use and transitions to existing access points help define the task.
Plan access and the workflow together
Access does not end at the ladder or walkway. Transitions to the actual work location and future use are therefore also considered. Available plans and as-built documentation help define installation, maintenance or inspection as a specific order.
